Statement for Clubs

The Wolverhampton & District Sunday Football League will keep the operation of its competition under constant and diligent review and will always remain in compliance with the government advice.

The Football Association has offered its guidance, and made it clear the decision to continue or to suspend a competition is a matter for each league to make.
The Sunday League places the welfare and well-being of all those involved in and connected to its competition as the highest priority. All Clubs and supporters are encouraged to stay up to date with the latest public health advice, which is available daily via the media.

Games will be played as normal on Sunday 15th March and we ask ALL clubs to ensure that their players, officials and spectators are in general good health, should anyone show signs of high temperature, and coughing please ask them NOT to attend your games and to self-isolate themselves for 7 days as per official guidelines.

The Sunday League Committee will be meeting on Monday 16th March to discuss events concerning our league and the COVID-19 pandemic.
