President Ken Pemberton

It is with deep regret that we inform you that our dear friend & loyal servant to the Wolverhampton & District Sunday Football League & current President Ken Pemberton sadly passed away on Saturday 19th January 2019 aged 87.

Ken will be remembered as a man who dedicated himself to the League for many years until ill health stopped him attending the League meetings. His experience and knowledge of Grass Roots Football was synonymous, and all who were fortunate to know him and work alongside him I’m sure will agree.

Our deepest condolences go to his wife Elaine & the family at this sad time.

We will never forget Ken and we treasure the memories and the time we shared in his company.

A One minute silence will be observed by all clubs and Match Officials before games on Sunday 20th January 2019.

We will also observe a One minute silence before our next General meeting on Monday 11th February 2019.
