UTC Win The Ken Pemberton Cup Final 2016

The Committee of the Wolverhampton & District Sunday Football League would like to congratulate UTC on winning the Ken Pemberton Cup Final 2016.

Friday nights Cup Final played in front of another good attendance of supporters from both sides, saw them run out 2-0 winners after extra time against Royal George.

Both sides created chances but were unable to make the break through until the 5th minute of the first period of extra time, UTC centre half Matthew Curly heading home from a corner kick, and Jon Sprague added a second in the 8th minute of the second period of extra time.

The Man Of The Match Award went to Chris Cleary of UTC.

The Cup was presented by Tom Pemberton, Son of Ken Pemberton and Ken's Grandson Joe and Grand Daughter Faye Pemberton.
